I don’t know if you heard the good news, but Long Island Restaurant week has been extended!!

This came directly from our friends over at The Long Island Restaurant News.

As we all know…or 9 out of 10 of us do…life on the Island has become a little harder lately turning some of us into hermits without electricity, heat or food.

This travesty has also affected many businesses, attractions and restaurants, so to give back to the community and re coup a little bread for themselves, many of the original restaurants on this year’s list have extended restaurant to the end of the week.

Over 1/2 of the original participants are running the $24.95 dinners through the end of the week.

This year it was Nov 4 thru Nov 11, but because of the devastating effects that Hurricane Sandy had on the Island, many restaurants have chosen to extend it all the way through 11/15 or 11/18…it depends on the restaurant so please make sure you call ahead.
